About Fishing Trips & Dave Maroon (your fishing
guide)
Hello, I am Dave Maroon and I welcome
you to my website. My goal is to provide you with the
best possible quality fishing adventure. I will do
everything I possibly can to make your trip a fun and
exciting experience whether you are a seasoned veteran
or you are just beginning to learn how to fish. |
 |
|
We go catching out of a 24' North River. North River
makes the highest quality and most comfortable boat on
the water today. The boat is also fully covered! You will be comfortable, safe, warm and
in the nicest and most accommodating boats on the River.
I have a coast guard license and state license and
am fully insured. I have a fisheries degree from Mount
Hood Community College and have been fishing local area
waters my entire life.

THE BOAT |
Dave Maroon fishes from a 24' North River boat.
When conditions dictate the boat is also covered.
Dave Maroon has fished local waters for over 20 years.
He has extensive knowledge in every aspect of the
fishing industry. Dave has an associate degree in fish
biology and has worked on several fisheries projects in
Alaska, Oregon and California.
When you spend a day fishing with Dave Maroon you will
get more than just a great day of fishing and catching.
You will also get a better knowledge of fishing in the
Northwest and you will enjoy the company of a very
friendly fishing guide. Come and join Dave Maroon
Fishing Adventures today. Dave also uses a much smaller
drift boat for Sandy River drifting and other smaller
fisheries.

AS A YOUNG MAN |
 |
I have been fishing
local area waters since I was a little kid and I
still get as excited every time I get a fish on.
Join me for an exciting day of catching and a
fishing adventure on the world famous Columbia
river.
You will never forget your first "hog" Salmon (photo on
right) because it is a thrill of a lifetime. And
my first big keeper Sturgeon (photo on left) was
a thrill too. These are the kinds of excitement
will bring you back again and again year after
year to the popular Northwest fisheries.
|
 |
| I have
to admit that I still get the same thrill when I
catch a fish today. Catching a prize Northwest
Salmon, Steelhead Walleye, Shasd or Sturgeon is an enjoyment
that is just as good every time you experience
it. My heart beats just as hard now as it did
when I was a young boy when I hook a big one.
Come join me and see for yourself. I promise
that you'll have such a great time that you'll
want to book the same trip for nest year too.
The happy clients in the photo below will verify
that for sure! |

Abu Garcia was founded in Svangsta,
Sweden, near the Morrum River in 1921.
Originally a watch factory, the company turned
its focus to the development of precision
fishing reels in the late 1930s under the
direction of the founder’s son, Gote Borgstrom. |

Poulsen Cascade Tackle . . . designed,
developed,
and hand-crafted in the U.S.A. to meet the
demands of regionally specific fisheries. |
